We are located on the R40 between Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa on the Balule Private Nature Reserve in Limpopo Province and is a Big Five Reserve open to the Kruger National Park so the animals roam freely.

Hoedspruit Airport is the nearest airport to us.

There is a daily shuttle from OR Tambo International Airport, departing from the Bus Terminal at 07h45 every morning. They will then drop you off at Three Bridges from where we can collect you. The cost for the Shuttle is R895 per person one way, and R150 per person from Three Bridges to the Lodge. This needs to be booked well in advance.

Yes, we can assist you with transfers at R450 per person one way.

We offer additional Game drives at R450 per person per drive, Quad Bike safaris are R800 per person and massages in the privacy of your unit vary from R610 per person for a Full Body Massage for 60 minutes to R700 for 90 minutes. A Lefika Hotsone Massage is R650 per person for 60 minutes. Kindly note Massages and Quad Bike safaris must be booked in advance.

No, we have a Dining room at the Main Lodge, where Breakfast and Dinner are served. Lunch can also be arranged and can be served at your unit if you prefer.

No, our pools are not heated.

No, we do not.

Regrettably, we do not allow children under the age of 16 years at the lodge.

No, all our meals are plated. The chef decides on the menu for the day. Any dietary restrictions or food allergies must be arranged during the booking process. We do not cater Halaal or Kosher.

No, this is a Big Five Reserve where animals have right of way. No music or loud noise is allowed.

A normal sedan or 4 x 2 vehicle is sufficient. No vehicles with low-profile tyres or sports conversions are advisable as the road has a lot of loose gravel and stones on the road.

Yes, there are Gate Fees that must be paid when entering the Reserve. It is R100 per person conservation fee and R200 for the vehicle. International Guests pay R300 per person conservation fee and R200 for the vehicle. These fees are payable in cash, as the Gate does not have card facilities.

Do you have card facilities at the lodge?
